KAHULUI – Maui County Council candidate for Kahului, Don Guzman received the endorsements from both public safety unions, the Hawaii Firefighters Association (HFFA) and the State of Hawaii Organization of Police Officers (SHOPO).
“I’m humbled and honored to be endorsed by these wonderful groups of public servants”, said Guzman. “As a former deputy prosecutor, I have a deep respect to those that have dedicated their lives to public safety.”
Guzman, is a former deputy prosecutor for the County of Maui and runs a small general practice law firm. He also served on Congresswoman Mazie Hirono’s staff as the Maui Field Representative and was a legislative aide in the Hawaii State House of Representatives.
